Many gases are odourless which is why measurement instruments must always be used during remediation work.
Soil moisture meter
During soil remediation, such as removing asbestos from the soil, the surface must be moistened. Dehaco provides two different meters suitable for measuring the moisture content of the soil.
Temperature and humidity
During asbestos remediation work, temperature and humidity must be continuously measured to ensure they remain within the range of the asbestos filters (for respiratory protection). For the correct range, please refer to the user guide for the particular filter.
Decontamination in closed areas
When working in confined spaces, hazards such as poisoning (short or long term), choking and combustion must be mitigated. A confined space can also only be accessed if toxic or explosive vapour/air mixtures are not longer present and sufficient oxygen (at least 19% by volume) is available.
